A GTM account: a Google Tag Manager account with access to the container for your website.
Your Sona script: your unique Sona tracking script, available on the Tracking Pixel page.
Installing Sona with Google Tag Manager
Work through these steps to add the Sona script as a Custom HTML tag:
Open Google Tag Manager. Log in to your GTM account and select the container for the site where you want to install the Sona script.
Create a new tag. In the left-hand menu, click Tags, then click New, and enter a name like Sona Tracking Pixel.
Configure the tag. Click the Tag Configuration area (the pencil icon).
Choose the tag type. In the Choose tag type search box, type html and select Custom HTML.
Add your Sona script. Copy your Sona tracking script from the Tracking Pixel page and paste it into the HTML field.
Set the trigger. Click Triggering, then select All Pages to fire the tag on every page.
Save the tag. Click Save. You will see the tag added to your tag list.
Submit your changes. Click Submit in the top right to publish.
