Overview
Sona's Destinations enable automatic export of your Sona Audience data to connected platforms. This guide will help you set up and manage data exports that sync automatically as your audiences update, keeping your data fresh across your go-to-market stack.
Prerequisites
You must have at least one Sona Audience created.
You need administrator permissions to add new connectors.
For connecting certain platforms, you will need valid API credentials for those services.
Step 1: add a new destination
Navigate to the Destinations section in the left sidebar.
Click the + sign at the end of the search bar.
Next, you will see a list of destinations included in your plan.
Step 2: select a destination
Review the list of destinations available to your plan.
Select the target destination where you would like to sync your Sona Audience.
You can configure the target destination data connection from Connectors in the left sidebar. Alternatively, the Destination configuration will also link to the Connector setup if it has not already been configured.
Step 3: configure your destination
Enter a descriptive Destination Name to identify your sync configuration.
In the Source field, select the Sona audience that you want to synchronize.
In the Target field, select the target system to where data will be synchronized.
Choose your Sync Settings: select Add to Audience, Remove from Audience, or One Time Sync, available in select destinations.
Configure Record Matching criteria by mapping Source and Target columns, such as Email or Phone, available in select destinations.
Set up Field(s) Mapping to specify which additional data columns should be synchronized, available in select destinations.
Configure Sync Frequency using the interval schedule, such as every n minutes, hours, days, or weeks, available in select destinations.
Set when the schedule becomes effective, immediately or on a custom date.
Choose how long the sync remains active, indefinitely or until a set end date.
Save your configuration to activate the data synchronization.
Step 4: save your configuration
Click the Save button to create your destination.

Each destination platform requires additional platform-specific setup steps. As you create a new destination, you will be able to reference the detailed configuration instructions in the right sidebar help.
Managing existing destinations
Find destinations: use the search bar to locate specific destinations, and use the filter dropdown to sort by platform or status.
Edit destination settings: click any destination name to open its configuration screen, make your changes, and save.
Bulk actions: select one or more checkboxes next to destinations, then click the Actions dropdown to access options, such as Edit, Remove, Activate, or Pause.
Best practices
Set your sync frequency based on how often your audience data changes.
Use descriptive names for destinations to easily identify them later.
Regularly review your destinations to ensure they are active and functioning properly.
Consider data privacy requirements when exporting audience data.
