Step 1: Connect Salesforce to Sona

- Go to Connectors in the Sona sidebar 
- Locate or add the Salesforce Connector 
- Authenticate and ensure the status reads Active 
Step 3: Salesforce-Specific Configuration
Step 3: Salesforce-Specific Configuration
- Salesforce Entity: Choose the target entity you want to sync data to—e.g., Contacts, Leads, or Accounts 
- Sync Method: - Use Add/Update to create new Salesforce records and update existing ones 
- Use Update Only to modify only existing records 
- Use One-Time Sync for a single export of data 
 
- Field Mapping: Map your Sona fields to the appropriate Salesforce fields. Use the + Add button to map additional fields. 
- Enable real-time processing for this destination (located under Field Mapping): Check this box if you want immediate data updates - When enabled, real-time processing will override the scheduled sync frequency 
- Ideal for time-sensitive workflows and immediate lead follow-up

- Start with minimal field mapping and expand as needed to avoid sync errors 
- Regularly review sync logs to ensure healthy, up-to-date data flows
