This guide walks you through connecting your Sona Audiences to Klaviyo for automated syncs. By completing this setup, your Klaviyo segments will update in real time based on your Sona segmentation, enabling timely, personalized email flows for high-intent leads.

Prerequisites

  • A Klaviyo account must already be connected to Sona.

  • Access to Sona Audiences data.

Step 1: connect Klaviyo to Sona

  1. Go to Connectors in the Sona sidebar.

  2. Locate or add the Klaviyo Connector.

  3. Authenticate and ensure the status reads Active.

Step 2: create a new destination

  1. Navigate to the Destinations section.

  2. Click + Add Destination.

  3. Select Klaviyo from the list.

Step 3: Klaviyo-specific configuration

  • Destination Name: enter a clear, descriptive name like "High Intent: Klaviyo Sync".

  • Source Selection: choose the Sona Audience you want to sync.

  • Target Selection: select your connected Klaviyo account.

  • Enable Real-Time Processing: located under Field Mapping, check this box if you want immediate data updates. When enabled, real-time processing will override the scheduled sync frequency, ideal for time-sensitive workflows and immediate lead follow-up.
