Welcome to Sona. This article walks you through the entire account registration process from start to finish, from signing up with Google or email through verifying your address and completing the initial onboarding steps. Once you are registered, Sona begins pulling in visitor and account data so you can start identifying the companies visiting your site.
Registering your account
Follow these steps to create your account and start tracking:
Go to the account registration page.
If you have a Google account, click Sign up with Google, choose the Google account you want to use, and click Continue. Otherwise, enter your email address, fill out the rest of the details, and click Continue.
Check your inbox for the verification email, then click Install the Sona SDK. If you do not see the email, check your Spam folder.
Follow the onboarding steps to connect your HubSpot and Slack accounts and install the Sona tracking script. After completing each step, click Next to proceed.
You can skip the onboarding steps and finish them later using the Quick Start Guide once you have logged in. After that, you are all set. Start familiarizing yourself with the Sona platform while you wait for the tracking script to pull in new visitor and account data, and click the help icon in the lower-left corner to show or hide the help sidebar for the page you are viewing.

First, check your Spam or Junk folder, since verification emails sometimes land there. If you still cannot find it, confirm you entered the correct email address during sign-up and try requesting the email again. Once it arrives, click Install the Sona SDK to continue.
Can I sign up with Google?

Yes. On the registration page, click Sign up with Google, choose the Google account you want to use, and click Continue. If you prefer, you can register with your email address instead by filling out the details on the same page.

Can I skip the onboarding steps?
Yes. You can skip the onboarding and complete it later from inside the platform using the Quick Start Guide. The onboarding covers connecting your CRM and Slack and installing the tracking script, so completing it sooner means Sona starts collecting data sooner.
