FAQs

What is a tracking template?

A tracking template is a configured rule that defines the target URL and forwarded parameters used for a campaign. Sona's Tracking Templates page lists every template currently associated with your campaigns so you can review how each one is set up.

Can I edit or delete a tracking template from this page?

No, the Tracking Templates page is view-only. It is designed for reviewing existing templates, not for making changes. If a template needs to be edited or removed, it must be managed from where it was originally created.

What does Forward Params mean?

Forward Params shows any parameters that are passed along with the tracking template to the target URL, such as click or campaign identifiers. This lets you confirm which parameters a given template carries through to its destination.

How do I find which campaign a tracking template belongs to?

Use the Campaign and Campaign ID columns in the table to see which campaign a tracking template is linked to. The Organization column further narrows results if you manage templates across multiple organizations.
