- Go to Connectors in the Sona sidebar 
- Locate or add the Send Email Connector 
- Authenticate with your email system credentials (e.g., SMTP, SendGrid, HubSpot, or another provider) 
- Confirm that the status reads Active before proceeding

- Destination Name: Enter a clear and descriptive name (e.g., "Engaged Newsletter Signups") 
- Source: Select the data source that contains your email audience 
- Filters (Optional): Use filters to refine who receives the email 
- Recipient Email Address: Choose the field that contains the recipient's email address 
- Subject: Add a compelling subject line for the email 
- (Optional) Configure content templates, dynamic fields, or message body depending on your setup 
- Enable real-time processing for this destination (located under Field Mapping): Check this box if you want immediate data updates - When enabled, real-time processing will override the scheduled sync frequency 
- Ideal for time-sensitive workflows and immediate lead follow-up
