Overview
This guide walks you through connecting your Sona Audiences to Google Conversions Upload for automated syncing. By completing this setup, your Google Ads campaigns will benefit from real-time conversion tracking based on high-intent activity from Sona.
Prerequisites
A Google Ads account must be connected to Sona.
Access to Sona Audiences data.
Step 1: connect Google Conversions Upload to Sona
Go to Connectors in the Sona sidebar.
Locate or add the Google Conversions Upload.
Authenticate and ensure the status reads Active.
Step 2: create a new destination
Go to the Destinations section in the Sona sidebar.
Click + Add Destination.
Select Google Conversions Upload from the destination list.
Step 3: Google Conversions Upload-specific configuration
Destination Name: use a clear, descriptive name like "Product Purchase: Conversion Upload".
Google Account: select the connected Google Ads account. If not yet connected, authenticate with Google.
Conversion Action: choose the specific action already created in Google Ads for attribution.
Use the Source dropdown to choose your Sona audience or report.
(Optional) apply Filters to target specific behaviors, segments, or conversions.
Enable Real-Time Processing: located under Field Mapping, check this box if you want immediate data updates. When enabled, real-time processing will override the scheduled sync frequency, ideal for time-sensitive workflows and immediate lead follow-up.
