Agents: Select an Agent

See the AI agents available in Sona, what each one helps with, and how to open one and switch between agents.

Overview

Agents are AI chat assistants built into Sona, each focused on a specific area of your data. Instead of digging through dashboards, you can ask an agent a direct question, for example about your AI visibility, your accounts, or your web traffic, and it answers using the data connected to your workspace.

Select an Agent is the page where every available agent lives. Open it any time you want to start a new conversation or see which agents are available on your plan.

Getting to Select an Agent

  1. In the left sidebar, click Agents.

  2. Click Select Agent to see every agent available on your plan.

Each card shows the agent's name, a short description of what it covers, and a couple of tags for its main capabilities. Click anywhere on a card to open that agent and start a conversation.

Locked agents

An agent with a lock icon next to its name, such as Marketing Influence on some plans, is not included in your current plan. Upgrading your plan unlocks it.

Note: Your trial banner in the sidebar shows how many days remain and links to Upgrade Now if you want to unlock plan-gated agents early.

Opening an agent

Clicking a card on Select an Agent opens that agent's chat screen, ready for your first question.

The agent's name and a short tagline confirm which agent you're talking to. Type a question in the prompt box to get started, covered in Agents: Chatting with an Agent.

Switching agents

You don't need to go back to Select an Agent to change which agent you're talking to. Click the agent selector at the bottom-left of the prompt box to see every agent and jump to a different one.

A checkmark marks the agent you're currently chatting with. Clicking another agent in the list opens a new chat with it.

FAQs

Do all agents work the same way?

The chat mechanics are the same across every agent, typing a question, getting an answer, asking follow-ups, but the data each agent draws on and the Playbooks it offers are specific to its domain.

Can I use more than one agent at a time?

You can only chat with one agent at a time, but you can switch agents from within an open chat using the agent selector, without returning to the Select an Agent page.

What does the lock icon mean on an agent card?

It means that agent isn't included in your current plan. Upgrading unlocks access to it.

Does switching agents lose my current conversation?

Switching agents opens a new chat scoped to the newly selected agent. Your previous conversation isn't deleted, it's saved and searchable from Search Chats.
