Agents: Marketing Influence

Chat with the Marketing Influence agent to ask how campaigns and content shape pipeline and closed deals, and use its 30 playbook templates.

Overview

The Marketing Influence agent answers questions about marketing's influence on pipeline. It looks at how marketing touches shape pipeline and closed-won deals, from content to campaigns, so you can ask what is actually moving deals forward rather than ranking it by hand.

Its tagline on screen sums it up: Ask anything about marketing's influence on pipeline.

Getting to the Marketing Influence agent

  1. In the left sidebar, click Agents.

  2. Click Select Agent.

  3. Click the Marketing Influence card.

The breadcrumb at the top confirms where you are: Agents › Select an Agent › Marketing Influence.

Note: Marketing Influence is plan-gated on some plans. If its card shows a lock icon, upgrading unlocks it. See Agents: Select an Agent.

What's on the screen

  • Agent badge: a small Agent label above the title, confirming you are on an agent chat screen rather than a dashboard.

  • Agent name and tagline: Marketing Influence with its one-line description of what it covers.

  • Prompt box: the large input in the middle, prompting you to analyze and visualize trends and patterns in the data.

  • Agent selector: the dropdown at the bottom-left of the prompt box, showing Marketing Influence. Use it to switch agents without leaving the chat.

  • Send button: the arrow button at the bottom-right of the prompt box.

  • Connect your data to analyze: a bar beneath the prompt box with connector icons and a Connect Data button. It appears when the agent needs a data source connected to answer fully.

  • Get started with a template: a block of prebuilt prompts under the prompt box, with a count of every playbook available for this agent.

Get started with a template

The template block is subtitled See how marketing touches shape pipeline and closed deals and shows four prebuilt prompts you can click instead of typing your own:

  • Calculate the total marketing spend for the current period: what's our total marketing spend this period?

  • Show marketing spend trend over the last 6 months: marketing spend trend over last 6 months?

  • Show marketing spend breakdown by channel: spend by channel breakdown?

  • Compare actual marketing spend against budget: how does spend compare to budget?

These four are a sample. Click Browse all 30 Marketing Influence playbooks to see the full set. For how templates work, see Agents: Playbooks.

What you can ask

This agent is scoped to campaigns and content and their effect on pipeline. Beyond the templates, you can ask things like:

  • Which campaigns influenced the most closed-won revenue?

  • Which content pieces show up most often on winning deals?

  • Which channels are underperforming against their spend?

Questions outside this agent's domain are better asked of a different agent. Each agent draws only on the data for its own area.

Connecting data

An agent can only answer from the data connected to your workspace. When the Connect your data to analyze bar is showing, click Connect Data to add a source. Spend and budget questions in particular depend on your cost and campaign data being connected.

FAQs

Why is Marketing Influence locked for me?

A lock icon on the agent card means it is not included in your current plan. Upgrading your plan unlocks it.

Why can't the agent answer my spend question?

Spend and budget answers depend on your cost and campaign data being connected to the workspace. If the Connect your data to analyze bar is showing, click Connect Data to add the missing source.

Do I have to use a template?

No. Templates are a shortcut. You can type any question in the prompt box instead, and you can edit a template's prompt after clicking it.

Are my conversations saved?

Yes. Conversations are saved and searchable from Search Chats.
