Overview
Personal Information is where you keep the details on your own Sona user profile up to date: the organization you belong to, the email address on your login, and your first and last name. Check it when you first sign in, or any time your name or details change, so your teammates see the right information across the platform.
Getting to Personal Information
Personal Information is the first tab inside Account Settings, which lives at the bottom of the left sidebar. To open it:
In the left sidebar, click Account Settings at the very bottom. If the sidebar is collapsed to icons, it is the person icon in the bottom-left corner.
Personal Information opens by default. If you are on another Account Settings tab, click Personal Information at the top of the settings menu.
The Personal Information card shows four fields. They are grayed out and read-only until you choose to edit them.
Organization: The name of the organization your Sona account belongs to.
Email Address: The email address associated with your Sona login.
First Name: Your first name as it appears in Sona.
Last Name: Your last name as it appears in Sona.
Editing your information
Click Edit Information in the bottom-right corner of the card to unlock the fields.
Click Edit Information.
Click into the field you want to change and type the new value.
Click Save Changes to keep your edits, or Cancel to discard them.
While you are editing, the Edit Information button is replaced by Cancel and Save Changes. Once you save or cancel, the fields lock again.
